Silver clay is a soft, moldable material made of 99.9% pure silver, an organic binder, and water. You sculpt, carve, or imprint your design just like ordinary clay, then dry it and fire it with a torch or kiln. The binder burns away and what is left is a solid piece of real fine silver with beautiful detail.

This is TheLilaLobster's own silver clay, made for makers who want dependable, easy-to-shape clay that fires to a brilliant finish.

How it works

1. Shape your design by hand or with texture plates, molds, and cutters.
2. Dry it completely.
3. Fire it with a torch or kiln and the clay transforms into solid fine silver.
4. Polish to a mirror shine, or give it a brushed, oxidized, or matte finish.

What you can make: one-of-a-kind pendants, charms, talismans, and rings.

Available sizes: 5, 7, 10 and 20 gram. As a rough guide, 5 g makes a small pendant, 7 g a simple ring and 10 g a wide ring or statement pendant (see the silver clay weight guide). For fine lines and stone settings, add a silver clay syringe.
